Cerebral Palsy maybe/maybe not
There is no way on earth or in the heavens to push all of that down the spinal cord to be shared by each body part. From that model we must consciously decide what we want next which requires a change to EVERYTHING in that model. That is another layer.
We think we know what to expect when we do the thing we want to do. (yet another layer, expectation).
Information theory says you MUST send the LEAST information with the highest reliability to get it done. Highest reliability? Hmm. We do not want a stray gamma ray to initiate a single nerve impulse that winds up stabbing our self with a sharp object held in our hand. Redundancy. For every thing needed to be done we need a few copies of the change order and ignore unmatched oddball signals. On the brain surface, the location of this body part or that is not at single point but the average of a small area. Noise is intolerable. It makes figuring what the average is erroneous.
So, in both spasticity in-parallel and in-series, noise confounds. Choosing and knowing both suffer. The patient comes to a stop.
Ask the patient about what is seen and what is desired and we quickly know if the brain modeling of self in the environment is working. But if they can’t do the thing that they want is the SENDING of valid intent dead?

is it simply not being decoded after it is sent intact into the parts to be distributed to the various muscles etc.
This is akin to having a movie file in you computer that when you try to play it, all you see is mush. Supply a missing codec and you see that the file and
