Cerebral Palsy maybe/maybe not
Information theory
We began this book with a tease, information theory as relevant to cerebral palsy. So we will end with that. So far, there has been no attempt to make every presented fact seem scientifically proven. We were in a quest for cohesive observation. We do not have a way to peer into the mind freely. But that is a clue in itself.
Look around you and name out loud all the things you see. Now close your eyes, you can still conjure them. How?
All those things you saw were IN YOUR HEAD! Every single thing you see and hear is an internal neurological construction modeled from visual signals and sound. The very seeing is already in your head. Now consider that to make a single gorilla kicks reptile movie takes YEARS of computer construction by multiple large computing firms and data storage firms who divide the task into parts to assemble later and edit as needed. Here we are just looking around. No pressure. Our mental movie of what is out there is in real time, in 3D, in color, with no work-around tricks such as cleverly painted scenes. What this would require in Hollywood is impossible by COMPUTATION. It is done in our heads - chemically. Analog . With the thousands of variations of just one single cell pore, chemically, millions of varying speeds and duration and peaks of action mimic the surroundings that are moved along as fast as we can move our heads and eyes in a single total step. In that model, in your head, is also a mostly unseen self , who is also kept true in real time. Whatever that self looks at (in the model of the surroundings) gets more detail and focus of knowing.
