SACH-SAWCH
She is stiff? Well she created a big single wheel that goes through a small arc of travel (resulting in minimal vertical travel against gravity). By plantar flexing her ankles she has centered this large wheel at mid stance as well as adding to the wheel radius which increases travel with less arc requirement. Inman’s determinants seem to be missing. Oh. We put something on her that robs momentum energy from Inman’s determinants. All of her joints have full range of motion. She is an international Irish step dancing competitor at championship level. She’s not just “normal”; she’s better than normal. Yet, there she is looking exactly like spastic diplegia (EMGs as well). Our gymnast, our jogger, & our marathon volunteers also did this when we stole their momentum.
The step dancer, on the right, was the only test volunteer who could finish the planned walk (walking around a big room ~ ½ basketball court). The others resorted to crawling and had to quit exhausted. Are THEY abnormal?
Is this almost over?
